Since its beginning in 1888, Auckland Girls’ Grammar School has educated thousands of young women.
Our students who leave school at the end of each year are often sad to leave and tell us how much their time at AGGS has meant to them. Many of them plan to stay in touch with the school and each other but time marches on and distance and circumstance mean that often they lose contact with us and with one another.
Our Old Girls’ Association is mindful of the fact that many of these women now live in all corners of the globe, and it is no longer possible for our ‘Old Girls’ to maintain a connection with their old school and their old school friends in traditional ways, hence the formation of the ‘Auckland Girls Alumnae and Friends’ and the development of this social networking site.
We hope that by using this site you will be able to reconnect and easily maintain contact with your old school friends. We will also use the site to keep you informed of the exciting happenings at our school. We welcome your comments and feedback. [More]
